defeats BMW asshats. If you have RWD and all seasons, you will end up like this.

Hey, I have RWD and all-seasons, and I'm doing just fine
Well, selectable rwd/4wd actually. and a truck. with significant ground clearance. so that might have something to do with it. i guess

This is true.
My truck has all-seasons (technically LT All Terrain) on it, and RWD. In Georgia.
And it hasn't crashed! Imagine that.

That's unpossible!

It's true. It's just sitting there in the driveway with a bit of snow on it.
Not crashing, just sitting there, being a truck.

My friend drives a CRV and last week after it snowed, he was like, I should floor it while making this left turn into a busy main street just to try and drift on the snow in the center lane. And I was like:

Well yeah. If you leave it parked it won't crash. That's kinda like cheating though.

I drive RWD with all seasons. This is the worst winter we have seen in a while here in Pittsburgh and I drive 1800 miles a month. No ditches...

The joke is that almost all of the descriptions in the media are that the mere fact that the car/truck itself is RWD and has non-snow tires instantly causes itself to crash.
It attributes no part to the meathead working the pedals and wheel, because they couldn't have done anything wrong.
Same thing with the Toyota stuck accelerators. :)

Right tell that to my neighbor who dd's an 80's Camaro all year round. It is safe to assume he doesn't put snow tires on it.

My baby is parked until the weather gets better. I'm not risking it.

See, the thing is that we are agreeing here.
Even when I had to go to the store with the truck yesterday, I had no issues.
It's more a dig at the media and idiot drivers than anything else.

I wasn't aware that we were disagreeing. :-\

Tone is one of those things lost in the written word.
It's most unfortunate.

I've got all-seasons and FWD .
I've never had a problem driving in the snow.

Lets see Michigan winters with lake effect snow, (look it up its fun), both me and my dad have rwd vehicles with all seasons and we do just fine. These people are just stupid.

Ah, how true.
